Mens Cloudboom Strike – White/Flame

The newest addition to On’s high-performance marathon line-up, the Cloudboom Strike brings new innovation aimed at maximising performance and minimising everything else.

When designing the Cloudboom Strike, On Running’s innovation team decided to rethink how certain elements contribute to a shoe’s performance. One element they looked at is the strobel—a piece of fabric which runs between midsole and sockliner. They realised this element didn’t do much for improving performance, so they removed it! The Cloudboom Strike features a unique high-volume insole made with Helion HF foam which sits directly on-top of the Speedboard carbon plate—essentially giving you foam for free.

The uppers are constructed from a hyper-light mesh that’s transparent, revealing the underlying architecture which On uses to give you a secure fit whilst keeping weights to a minimum.
