This is where it all began for Tracksmith. The distinctive sash is inspired by those awarded to Cornell Track and Field athletes that earned championship points in the late 1800s. Unless Doc Brown really did make that time machine, we aren’t in 1800s anymore, but the legacy remains!
Continue the tradition and gear-up with a victorious sash for race day. There’s even some gold safety pins to secure your bib, which should shave 2 seconds off your final time.
Made in Tracksmith’s 2:09 Mesh, named after “Boston Billy” Rodgers, who set a 2:09:55 at the 1975 Boston Marathon. Legend is, he won wearing a mesh tee found in the rubbish… A great story yes, but since we’re not bin chickens, this’ll suffice.
