Mens Fast-R Nitro Elite 2 Ekiden – Rush Lime

Puma’s wild Fast-R Nitro Elite just got wilder, with version two pushing the envelope even further in the pursuit of maximum performance.

The iconic two-part midsole remains, with updates to the stack with an extra 2mm of Nitro™ foam brining the total to a competitive 40mm at the heel with 8mm drop to 32mm under the forefoot. Puma’s aggressive PWTPLATE carbon plate is back, but this time it’s even bigger—protruding from the toe like an underbite. This increased size allows for better leverage and increased propulsion. All of that power is put to the ground thanks to Puma’s industry-leading PUMAGRIP rubber outsole.

The upper retains much of the original design, with an updated monomesh structure that incorporates a dimpled texture for aero efficiency which pairs with the signature heel fin.

Ekiden Edition

“Ekiden” (駅伝) is a Japanese word which refers to the unique sport of long-distance relay racing. Ekiden could be roughly translated as ”station to station”. The original meaning of the word is reflected in race rules, where each runner at the end of their run has to pass a purple sash to the next runner.

Limited to 1000 pairs, this limited edition release features a special badge and purple taping which represents the sash passed during the Ekiden race.
