The latest addition to Nike‘s road training and racing line comes with major updates. Designed with durability and response in mind, the Zoom Fly 5 aims to bridge the gap between training and race day shoe.
Trickle-down from the premier racing models brings ZoomX midsole with a carbon fibre plate, allowing for a greater response under foot – making your runs feel easier and faster. The wider bases in the heel and forefoot compared to the Zoom Fly 4 offers runners a more stable platform for greater confidence.
Hakone Ekiden Edition
“Ekiden” (駅伝) is a Japanese word which refers to the unique sport of long-distance relay racing. Ekiden could be roughly translated as ”station to station”. The original meaning of the word is reflected in race rules, where each runner at the end of their run has to pass a sash to the next runner.
